Cedar Waxwings are one of my favorite birds. They are named after the bright red waxy tips of their wings. It is a delight to watch a flock work over a berry bush. After eating they frequently perch high in a tree or a bush in the sun.
My favorite Cedar Waxwing photo. This was taken on the towpath leading to Beaver Marsh. A flock of Waxwings were feasting on a berry bush near an old canal lock.
